About Me

My name is Lauren, I’m 22 years young and will always and forever be an enthusiast of all things clean and healthy. I’v been a nutritious eater and a workout devotee for as long as I can remember. My passion for food preparation and food photography soared when I made the choice to live a 100% raw vegan lifestyle. Beyond the physical benefits of glowing, clear skin, weight loss, strong nails, and shiny hair, this lifestyle has provided me with incredible energy, has made me a genuinely happy person, and has and continues to teach me to appreciate all aspects of life.

There is nothing I enjoy more than concocting raw food recipes, in fact, I’d call it an obsession. Sometimes I dream about recipes, sometimes I gather inspiration from fellow rawsters, but often I find that my finest creations surface when I just throw some random mixture of ingredients into a blender or a food processor and push power.

Thank You to everyone who takes the little moments during their day to comment and show an interest in the 100% raw, nutritous dishes that I prepare. At the very least I hope that my passion translates through my recipes and that I can motivate and inspire each and every one of my readers to eat clean, feel rawesome, and love life.

  2. I wish I could have the recipes of what is illustrated. For example, the pineapple, coconut water one that is green with basil and spinach. I would like to know how much you had put in of each ingredient. It would be nice if you could post the recipes. I did see some of the recipes for smoothies, but for only two. But the green one that I mentioned in this msg is not available with a recipe. It looked so good, I would like to make it and consume it. Thanks!!!!

      Thanks for your comment. I’ll definitely try harder to post measurements on my Facebook posts and Instagram photos but I do like to explain most of the ingredients and directions on the blog. I’m putting together a new smoothie post that I expect to go up tomorrow or Wednesday, which will include my Pineapple Cooler from this morning. In case you’re eager to try it ASAP here are the measurements:

      Blend: 2 cups fresh pineapple, 1/2 of a large cucumber, 1 cup baby or regular spinach, 10 fresh basil leaves, 3/4 cup coconut water, and 3/4 cup ice

    I have a can of pineapple chunks in their own juice, do you think that would work?

    • I actually used 10 fresh basil leaves since I really enjoy the flavor! But certainly feel free to modify the recipe to fit your own taste. Fresh is always best, then frozen, I try to avoid canned foods but it would probably work if that’s what you have on hand

    I have just started my “New Transition” to raw foods!
    I am dealing with a cancer diagnosis and I am determined to
